Intercostal muscles are present in between the ribs and diaphragm and help in the process of breathing. There are different spinal nerves which innervate the different regions of the body. The thoracic nerves T1-T11 . The nerve plexus junctions are formed by the T1 nerve fibers only. The movement of the limbs is coordinated by these nerves. These are called as the thoracic nerves.
