Introduction:

Trigeminal nerve is the fifth and the longest cranial nerve. It has three major branches: ophthalmic (V1), maxillary (V2), and mandibular (V3). It performs somatic functions. Trigeminal nerve is a mixed nerve that gives sensory innervation to the face and stimulates motor responses such as chewing and biting.
