Epithelial tissue is an important part of the body as a covering of surfaces and as a lining of the internal hollow organs.
Discuss how histologists can use visualization of epithelial tissue to help with diagnosis of diseases in different parts of the body.
Identify if the statement is True or False. If the statement is false, identify what is incorrect and correct it.
1. Homeostatic regulation refers to the adjustments that are met to keep homeostasis. Autoregulation or intrinsic regulation results when cell, organ or system adjusts its activity automatically.
2. The Tissue is a group of similar cells with common function. The body has four basic Tissues: Epithelial Tissue, Connective Tissue, Muscle Tissue and Nerve Tissue.
3. Pathologic Hypertrophy refers to an abnormal decrease in the size of each cell. Hypertrophy is a decrease in the size of cells and may be Physiologic or Pathologic.
