Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

Simple balanced nuclear reactions must be written with interpretation.

Concept introduction:

• In nuclear reactions different nuclides takes part resulting new nuclides.
• Bombardments of one nuclide with particles like alpha or neutron sometimes can generate new nuclides.
• Mass defect in nuclear reaction is converted to energy as per Einstein’s mass energy equivalent law given by

  $E=m{c}^2$

  Where E is the energy, m is the mass defect generated in the nuclear reaction and c is the velocity of light.
