Summary Introduction

Case summary: Company D provides different types of pizzas in different parts of the world that whole family can enjoy. To remain in one of the top position, Company D keeps their focus on market trend, customer likes and likes in their menu and customer suggestions and reviews. Company D wanted to add salad in its menu. It knew that is going to be a challenge. The question was whether to develop a whole new value chain or not and whether to hire another firm or do it itself. It also have the problem of menu, means which salad to serve. It decided to serve three types of salads and to hire another firm. Whenever company decides to bring new product, it bring it slowly. Company D keeps in mind the whole process of product promotion and other steps, so that people are aware of new addition in the menu. It launches a product to test because acceptance of the product is important. It decided to add wedding registry by listening to one of the suggestion of the customer. Company D understands that customer compare the benefit from cost of the product to get the value of the product and also understands that the entire product are not going to be successful in the market. It believes in constant evaluation to meet regularly changing consumer demand.
