The standard reduction potentials for the following half reactions are,

  Oxaloacetate (aq)+ 2H+(aq)Malate(aq)E0'=0.17VNAD+(aq)+H+(aq)NADH(aq)E0'=0.32V

The standard potential for the overall reaction will be,

  ΔE0'=Ecathode'-Eanode'=(0.32V)(0.17V)=0.15V

Calculating the standard free energy change,

  ΔG0'=-nFE0'=(2)(96485C1mole)(0.15V)=2895C.Vmol×1J1C.V×1kJ1000J=28.95kJ/mol
