Microbes that exist in nature lead different mode of lifestyles. Some are free living, some may be parasitic, and some depend on some other host for their life cycle, some or mutualistic by which both the microbe and the host are benefited by each other. Most of the microbes fall under free living and parasitic mode of existence. Only a few lead a mutualistic mode of survival.
