Interpretation:

Both the exponential functions are continuous, have no vertical asymptote and one to one. The function $y=3^x$ is an increasing function while the function $y=-3^x$ is a decreasing function. The y -intercept for $y=3^x$ is 3 while for $y=-3^x$ the y-intercept is $-3$ .
