The cerebrospinal fluid is present in the spinal cord and brain. Several functions are performed by cerebrospinal fluid. The cerebrospinal fluid provides buoyancy to the brain and reduces its weight. The cerebrospinal fluid also provides protection to the delicate organs. It maintains the chemical balance and also removes waste from the brain.
