The central region of the human nervous system is the brain. The central nervous system in humans is composed of the brain and spinal cord. The brain is the controlling and the regulatory center of all the activities performed by the body. It works by coordinating, integrating and processing the information relayed from the sense organ. The cerebrum is one of the major regions of the brain.
