Introduction:

Ejection fraction refers to the determination of the percentage of blood moving out of the heart each time contraction of heart takes place. At the time of each heartbeat pumping cycle, the heart relaxes and contracts. When the heart contracts, it ejects blood from the two pumping chambers, that is, the ventricles, and when the heart relaxes, the ventricles get filled with blood.
