Summary Introduction

Introduction:

The concentration of blood pumped by the left ventricle of the heart in one contraction is known as stroke volume. The stroke volume is not all the blood present in the left ventricle, generally, only about two-thirds of the blood in the ventricle is pumped out with each heartbeat. In combination with the heart rate, the stroke volume predicts the output of blood by the heart in a minute.
