C++ Visual Studio 2019
Write a program that asks the user for the name of a file. The program should display the contents of the file on the screen. Each line of screen output should be preceded with a line number, followed by a colon. The line numbering should start at 1. Here is an example:
George Rolland
127 Academy Street
Brasstown, NC 28706
If the file's contents won't fit on a single screen, the program should display 24 lines of output at a time, and then pause. Each time the program pauses, it should wait for the user to strike a key before the next 24 lines are displayed.
Note: Save text below as the file to use and name it forChap12.txt file for this assignment. The line numbers should NOT be reset for each screen.

The program should allow users to enter into a file minutes allowed in a month, minute used during a month and minutes over during a month for 12 months. The program reads the data from the file. The program validates the data as follows: - The minimum minutes allowed should be at least 200, but not greater than 800. Validate data accordingly. - The minutes used must be over 0. Validate data accordingly. Once correct data is read, the program should calculate the number of minutes over the minute allowed. If minutes were not over, print a message that they were not over the limit. If minutes were over, for every minute over, a .20 fee should be added to the monthly contract rate of 74.99. Be sure not to add the .20 fee for minutes 1 to the number of minutes allowed, but rather just minutes over. Display in a file the number…arrow_forward

- In c++ write a code that tells a user to enter a filename and read that text file line by line.arrow_forward2. File handling is an important part of any application. Assume that, you are asked to build an application to find the harmonic mean in a file. Assume that you have to read the file of "Filel.txt" and print the harmonic mean of each row to an output file "File2.txt". All of the data in the "File1.txt" is comma separated. In file1.txt you are given the name of the data set in first place, then you are given the data list. All of them are comma separated. Your task is to compute the harmonic mean from the given file | for each dataset. The file may contain more than 1000 rows. Write your code by following the requirements. File2.txt harmonic mean of Datal is 3.50 harmonic mean of Data2 is 3.43 harmonic mean of Data3 is 3.50 File1.txt Data1, 3, 4, 4, 3, 3.7, 4, 3.3, 1 Data2, 3, 4, 3.7, 3, 3.7, 4, 3, 1 Data3, 3, 4, 4, 3, 3.7, 4, 3, 2 Data4, 3, 4, 4, 3, 3.7, 4, 3.3, 2 Design a JAVA application that can perform the task with the given scenario. harmonic mean of Data4 is 3.49arrow_forwardStudent GPA Program Draw a flowchart of a program that meets the specifications of the following: The program reads a data file that contains 2 fields, Student Id, and GPA. Sample Input: Student ID GPA 1234 3.95 5678 3.52 9234 4.00 If the GPA is greater than or equal to 3.75 the program prints the Student ID and the message "Honor Roll" else the program displays the Student ID and the message "Maybe Next Quarter". When the program detects the End of File marker (EOF) it should stop. Sample Output: Student ID Status 1234 Honor Roll 5678 Maybe Next Quarter 9234 Honor Rollarrow_forward
- PROGRAM NEEDS TO MATCH EXAMPLE PHOTO Write a program ( lab6.cpp ) that gives and takes advice on program writing. The program starts by writing a piece of advice to the screen and asking the user to type in a different piece of advice. The program then ends. The next person to run the program receives the advice given by the person who last ran the program. The advice is kept in a file, and the contents of the file change after each run of the program. You can use your editor to enter the initial piece of advice in the file so that the first person who runs the program receives some advice. Allow the user to type in advice of any length so that it can be any number of lines long. The user is told to end his or her advice by pressing the Return key two times. Your program can then test to see that it has reached the end of the input by checking to see when it reads two consecutive occurrences of the character ‘\n’. Hints:- You need to look at each character as it is read to see if it is…arrow_forwardAlgorithm Workbench 1. Each line contains the following, separated by semicolons: • The name of the client, the service sold (such as Dinner, Conference, Lodging, and so on), • The amount of the sale, and the date of that event. • Write a program that reads such a file and displays the total amount for each service category. Display an error if the file does not exit or the format of the record is incorrect. No need to display anything else in this regard. Note that you can assume that the dates are entered correctly (no need to validate them). You may also assume that the name of the input text file is inputex4.txt. • Make sure you use a dictionary in your solution. • Sample run is included below for the given input file inputex4.txt Summary of total sales according to services Dinner 634.75 Conference 1133.25 Lodging Dinner and Lodging 550.25 625.14 Slide Tyne Fragment varrow_forward
