Introduction:

The DNA polymerase enzyme uses a single stranded DNA molecule as a template and causes the synthesis of another strand. They play important role in replication of DNA and formation of two identical strands of DNA from one parent strand. DNA polymerases can “read” the parent strand to make new strands which are complementary to the parent strand.
