The structure of the retina.

Introduction:

The inner light-sensitive tissue layer of the eye is called as the retina. A light ray that strikes the retina initiates a chain of electrical and chemical events that trigger the nerve impulse. This nerve impulse is received by the visual center of the brain through optic nerves.
