Chapter 12, Problem 14TYR
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Nerve impulses are conducted by two kinds of nerve cells known as dendrite and axon. Dendrites are tree-like projections of neuron. Dendrites indicate a particular type of glial cell. The glial cells help the neurons to bind together. The axon is an extension of nerve cells, which sends signals to successive neurons, glands, or muscles. Axon or nerve fiber appears elongated and slender.
