Pollution from the Space Shuttle Launch Site One problem encountered by developers of the space shuttle program was air pollution in the area surrounding the launch site. A certain direction from the launch site was considered critical in terms of hydrogen chloride pollution from the exhaust cloud. It has been determined that weather conditions would cause emission cloud movement in the critical direction only 5% of the time.
In Exercises 63-66, find the probability for each event. Assume that probabilities for a particular launch in no way depend on the probabilities for other launches.
(Give answers to two decimal places.)
Any 5 launched will result in at least one cloud move-ment in the critical direction.
