To describe: The effect of neurons resting membrane potential when there is a decrease in potassium ion concentration.

Introduction: The membrane potential states the unequal electric potential inside and outside of the plasma membrane of the neuron. The membrane potential is also called the resting potential, the plasma membrane is important for the permeability of the ions through the membrane to induce a potential.
