Introduction: The endocrine system includes the cells, tissue, and organs that are collectively called endocrine glands that secrete a chemical substance called hormone. This chemical substance is secreted into the interstitial fluid and is carried through the bloodstream to the target organ or tissue that is present at the distant site. By binding to its receptor, these substances make changes in the target tissue.
