Chapter 11, Problem 8MCQ
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Bacteria are prokaryotic organism and the division of bacterial kingdom is based on the characteristics of the cell wall. Depending on the cell shape, bacteria are classified into several types such as spirillum and spirochetes. Spirillum is a gram-negative, elongated, large, spiral-shaped, rigid cell with tight flagella at both ends. Spirochete is a gram-negative, long, corkscrew-shaped cell with axial filaments.
