Summary Introduction

To determine:

The attachment point which considered the muscle origin. At one end, the gracilis attaches to the anterior surface of the tibiaand to the pubis and ischium of the pelvis at the other. On the event of muscle contraction, flexion occurs at the hip.

Introduction:

The gracilis attaches to the anterior surface of the tibia which controls the medial rotation at hip. The muscles of pelvic floor are extended up to ischium and pubis. Pubis is also involved in the medial rotation of hip.
