Expert System:
- A work performed by a human expert and the same task is performed by a computer application is known as expert systems.
- The expert system is a knowledge-based system that models the professionals in that particular field.
- It is a successful form of
artificial intelligence software.
Expert system acquiring and representing knowledge:
Expert system works based on the set of rules implemented in the software. These rules are acquired from the knowledge of the skilled person that can be used by organization. An expert system is an example of knowledge-based system. It was the first commercial system which uses the functionalities of a knowledge-based architecture. It takes the data which has been given to them and then it applies the system rules in order to suggest solutions for the given problem.
