Concept introduction:
A unit cell is the smallest amount of 3-Dimensional piece of a solid comprising of basic particles of the solid in varied but generally common arrangements which when recurring over and again in dissimilar directions gives the complete solid crystal. There are numerous unit cells depending on the parameters, i.e. axial angles and axial length and second, on basis of location of constituent particles within the unit cell.
All unit cell is characterized in terms of lattice points - the points in space regarding which the particles are liberated to vibrate inside the crystal.
Body-centered cubic unit cell - It is the easiest repeating unit within a body-centered cubic structure. Again, there are total 8 equal particles resting on the 8 corners of the unit cell.
