The skin is the largest organ of the body. It separates the internal environment with the external environment of the body. The skin has mainly two layers; the outermost epidermis layer and the inner dermis layer. Another layer called as subcutaneous layer is also present under the dermis layer. It stores the fat in the adipose tissue for energy storage.
