The leg muscle that can cause flexion of the knee and the leg muscle that can plantar flex the foot.
Introduction:
Flexion is a movement in which bending of knee or elbow takes place. When a limb is bent at the joint, then the distance between two joints is decreased, this movement is known as flexion. The muscle which bends a limb at a joint is known as a flexor muscle. The act of movement in which the foot is bent downward at the ankle is known as plantar flexion. During plantar flexion, the angle between the foot and the front of the leg is increased.
