Introduction:
The anterior and posterior side of the hip and thigh comprises of tensor fasciae latae and three gluteal muscles. Tensor fasciae latae is a fibrous sheath that encloses the thigh muscles. The gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, and gluteus minimus are the three forms of gluteal muscles of the hip and femur region.
