Introduction:

Autosomal dominant pedigree is the chart of the genetic relationships between the parents and their progeny, when the affected traits are dominant in nature. The dominant trait will be expressed, even if it is present in a single parent.

Autosomal recessive pedigree is the chart showing a recessive disorder being passed in between one generation to the other. This type of disorder is found in the child, even if it was not expressed in the parents.
