Introduction:
The muscle of the vertebral column includes a higher number of posterior extensors compare to the anterior flexors. These are divided into extrinsic and intrinsic muscles of the back. Extrinsic muscles perform the function of shoulder movement whereas intrinsic muscle acts upon the back.
