Write the equation to find the force of thrust of the rocket.

  Fthrust=(vE)RdMRdt                                                                                                   (I)

Here, Fthrust is the force of thrust of the rocket, (vE)R is the exhaust speed of the rocket, and dMRdt is the rate of burning of fuel.

The engine uses 13.5g of fuel at the rate of 2.10s. Therefore rate of burning of fuel , dMRdt=13.5g2.10s.

Convert dMRdt into SI units.

Rewrite equation (I) in terms of Fthrust to find |(vE)R|.

Write the equation to find the total mass of the rocket.

  MRf=MC+ME+Mfuel                                                                                        (III)

Here, MRf is the mass of rocket, MC is the mass of chassis, ME is the mass of engine, and Mfuel is the mass of fuel exhausted.

Write the expression to calculate the mass of the rocket before propulsion.
