Explanation of Solution
State function is defined as the state of the system. It is the property which doesn’t depends upon the path of the reaction but depends upon the state of the reaction implies this function only depend upon the state of the substance and not on how that state is achieved.
For an example: Energy is a state function that is change in energy doesn’t depend upon the path of the process.
Entropy is state function as change in entropy doesn’t depend upon the path of the reaction.
