Introduction:
The skeletal muscles have multiple bundles of cells that are referred as muscle fibers, which are found under the voluntary control of the somatic nervous system. The skeletal muscle fibers are of three different types including SO (slow oxidative) fibers, fast glycolytic fibers and FOG (fast oxidative-glycolytic) fibers.
