Question
Chapter 10, Problem 13DYKB
Summary Introduction
To explain:
The reason for a greater ratio of motor neurons to skeletal muscle fibers in muscles that control eye movement than in postural muscle of the leg.
Concept introduction:
A “single motor neuron and the muscle fibers it controls” is called as a motor unit. Numbers of skeletal muscle fibers are innervated by single motor neuron thus muscle unit size varies and can range from smaller to larger motor unit.
