To determine: The fate of the body when homeostasis breaks down.
Introduction: The term homeostasis is from the Greek words “homeo” meaning similar and “stasis” meaning stable. It can be defined as the tendency of the body to maintain a stable equilibrium through various physiological processes in response to changes that occur in external environment. Maintaining constant body temperature and constant blood glucose levels are few examples of homeostasis.
