For drawing bond line formulae, the following rules are followed:

A bond is represented by a line.

Each bends in a line indicate carbon atoms, unless any other group is shown specifically.

Cs are not written for carbon atoms.

Hs are not written for hydrogen atoms, however if a three-dimensional perspective needs to be given, then dashed or solid wedges are used.

The number of hydrogen atoms bonded to each carbon is equal to the remaining valency of carbon.

Any element other than carbon or hydrogen is indicated by its symbol.

The hydrogen atoms bonded to elements other than carbon are shown by writing the symbol.
