Introduction:
The orientation planes are imaginary planes that provide the location of the organs or regions in the body with respect to the other. The orientation planes help to have the order of the organs separated by the planes. They can be visualized by using the XYZ coordinate system. It makes the study of anatomy easier. The three orientation planes are the axial, sagittal, and coronal planes.
