Chapter 1, Problem 2DYKB
Summary Introduction
Introduction
Tissue is a group of different types of cells coming together to perform a common function. Different types of tissue perform different functions. Some tissue forms an organ and carries out a common function. Some of the tissue helps in protection and shields from physical and chemical damages. Some tissues provide supportive strength as well as the flexibility to other structures in the body.

The level of organization is composed of two ormore tissue types that work together to perform a commonfunction.a. cellularb. tissuec. organd. organismal
What is known as a collection of one or more specific cell types that are organized in a way that suits them to a task?
Tissue
Stem cells
Organ
Organ system
Consider the four types of tissues in the
human body. Imagine that you discovered an
alien life form (very similar to humans) that
didn't have one of the types of tissues (you
choose which one that alien doesn't have).
Explain how the functioning of that alien
would be different from a human (that has
all four types of tissues).
Writing an answer to a constructed response question
should contain the following parts:
1. Claim- this is your answer to the question (written in a
complete sentence, using part of the question re-written
as part of your answer).
2. Evidence. In the second part of your answer, you write
details (from the lesson, class notes etc.) that support
your answer.
3. Reasoning- this is a summary statement tying the
evidence to your answer (to your claim). Why is what you
wrote true?
