The basic differences between eukaryotic and bacterial cell types.

Concept introduction:

Both eukaryotic and bacterial cells arise from the same ancestral cell, which was the first living cell on the earth. However, both these cell types have different structures. While bacterial cells have a simple structure, eukaryotic cells are quite complex and are bound by membranes, that also enclose the organelles it contains.
