Scientific method is a body of techniques for investigating phenomena, acquiring new knowledge or correcting previous knowledge. It is commonly based on empirical and measurable evidence.
Explanation of Solution
A set of guidelines used by scientists to add their experimental results to the larger body of the knowledge is called “scientific method”. It involves making observation, formulating hypothesis, conducting experiments, theory development and finally further experimentation. The method is continuous process and it begins from observation from the natural world and it ends further experiment.
