Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

The reason for the use of single crystal silicon in microelectronics applications needs to be explained. The alternative material that can be used for solar cells needs to be determined.

Concept introduction:

In a single crystal silicon, there are two types of silicon cells;

1. Single silicon cells
2. Multi-silicon cells

Silicon cells are fabricated from silicon wafers.

From these two silicon cells, single ones have better material properties.
