However, most companies are known for the marketing strategies used in the marketing mix.
The term marketing mix refers to the marketing activities used to create value, communicate and deliver to the customer. Product, price, place and promotion are the four major marketing mix variables known as the 4P’s of marketing. These four factors are also parameters that marketing managers can control based on their internal and external limitations. The basic goal of determining the marketing-mix is to meet the customers' needs and desires most effectively. The marketing mix requires a great deal of understanding, market research and consultation with many consumers to trade to production. However, for a product to be successfully marketed, these factors must be properly incorporated.
