What is Broca’s area ?
The human brain is a multi-functional organ that is the seat of all processing that leads to the myriad things that one is able to perform with regard to thought, feelings, and action. The largest of this organ is the human cortex that has four divisions in each of the two hemispheric parts.
They are the frontal lobe, parietal lobe, occipital lobe, and temporal lobe. Each of these cortexes is a seat of multiple unique functions, while the sensory processing for each modality occurs at different regions of the brain.
Language itself has multiple areas involved for speech production and comprehension. They are the Broca's areas, Wernicke's area, primary motor cortex, and different regions of the temporal gyrus.
