What are all the body parts needed for a muscle contraction?
There are three different types of muscles present in different organs . For example smooth muscles are present in internal organs of the body, cardiac muscles are specialized for contraction of heart and skeletal muscles are present in the body organs which are in our own control that is they contract voluntarily. The muscle system is made up of specialized cells called muscle fibers. Their main function is contractibility. Muscles, attached to the bones or internal organs and blood vessels, are responsible for movement. Almost every movement in the body is the result of muscle contraction. In contrast to this is the action of cilia, flagellum in sperm cells, and amoeboid movements in other white blood cells.
