Heat Exchangers
Heat exchangers are the types of equipment that are primarily employed to transfer the thermal energy from one fluid to another, provided that one of the fluids should be at a higher thermal energy content than the other fluid.
Heat Exchanger
The heat exchanger is a combination of two words ''Heat'' and ''Exchanger''. It is a mechanical device that is used to exchange heat energy between two fluids.
Calculate the mean condensing heat – transfer coefficient when refrigerant 12 condenses on the
outside of the horizontal tubes in a shell – and – tube condenser. The outside diameter of the
tubes is 19 mm, and in the vertical rows of tubes there are, respectively, two, three, four, three
and two tubes. The refrigerant is condensing at a temperature of 52°C, and the temperature of
the tubes is 44°C.
