Different type of gases have different Physical appearance and properties. Also they have different quantities in our surrounding.

Our environment contains approximately 79% Nitrogen gas, 21% oxygen gas, and remaining part for another gases like Carbon dioxide,carbon monoxide, water vapours, sulphur oxides, Nitrogen and phosphorus oxides, and so on. 

Nitrogen, oxygen, Carbon dioxide gases are normally colorless gases. They do not have any color but some others have specific colors like - fluorine is pale yellow, Chlorine is greenish yellow , phosphine is densed white etc.
