The construction of the pedestrian and cycle underpasses will serve as a subway to allow members of the public and train commuters to crossover to the other side of the railway safely and unharmed. The R42 million project will see the shutdown of train service operations of the line between LeAlan and Tembisa stations as of Friday, December 08, 2017 and shall be recommissioned and fully operational on Monday, January 08, 2018 by Prasa Rail’s Operator Gauteng Metrorail.
