Task IV You are working as an Electrical Engineer in NEPCO company your manager asked you to help technicians to analyze the exponential signals in addition to the stored and transmitted signals in a newly developed transformer and find the results as a part of a project to test the quality of the transformers to be reviewed by the quality assurance team (QA). Your manager asked you to evaluate the following using MATLAB: a. Plot the following exponential functions on the same figure, call it Figure (1): 2t fi(t) = 10 et f₂(t) = 10 e²t f3(t) = 10 e-t

newly developed transformer and find the results as a part of a project to test the quality of the
transformers to be reviewed by the quality assurance team (QA).
Your manager asked you to evaluate the following using MATLAB:
a. Plot the following exponential functions on the same figure, call it Figure (1):
f₁(t) = 10 et
f₂(t) = 10 e²t
2t
f3(t) = 10 e-t

b. If the current flows in a charging inductor i(t) at time t seconds is given by:
i.
ii.
iii.
i(t) = 1; (1 − e 7)m²
Where Is is the supply current, Is = 45 mA and t= 20.
Plot the graph of i(t) on separate figure, figure (2)
From the figure find the current flows in the inductor after 24 seconds.
The time t taken for current flows in the inductor to reach 30mA if the supply
current Is remains at 45 mA.
c. Compare the figures that are obtained in parts a and b and discuss your results.
