4. Complete balanced molecular equations (including states of matter) for each of the following:
chemical reactions.
a) An aqueous solution of silver sulfate combines with an aqueous solution of potassium
chloride to form a precipitate of silver chloride and aqueous potassium sulfate.
b) Solid zinc is added to an aqueous solution of tin (II) chloride to produce solid tin and an
aqueous solution of zinc chloride.
c) An aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide is neutralized with an aqueous solution of nitric
acid producing water and aqueous sodium nitrate.
d) Solid sodium bicarbonate is added to a solution of hydrochloric acid creating carbon dioxide
gas, water, and an aqueous solution of sodium chloride.
