Personality as defined by Skinner is a COLLECTION OF BEHAVIOR PATTERNS. Skinner and the Buddhists developed their ideas based on the assumption that there is no ego, no self, no personality, except as characterized by a collection of behaviors. Both theories go on to stress that a proper understanding of the CAUSES of behavior eliminates confusion and misunderstanding. Respond to this question by arguing either for or against Skinner's theory. Can you think of an aspect of your personality that is NOT a behavior?

B.F Skinner is one of the behaviourists who believed in behaviourism. B.F. Skinner thinks that human personality is a result of action and its reaction in their life, in simple words what we do and what reinforcement we get in behalf of that action define our personality. He said the environment plays a significant role in individual behaviour development. If an individual gets a reward for any behaviour they continue in their life and are not then discontinued.
