Now, in parental generation, a pink eyed male (aa) crossed with red eyed female (AA or Aa) producing a red offspring (Aa), which must be heterozygous since, pink eyed male can only pass a recessive allele (a). Again that heterozygous red eyed (Aa) offspring of first generation is crossed with an pink eyed (aa) fly.
