Question

Hi,

I solved this problem however I am stuck on the last part of it and I am not sure if the book is wrong with the result or if I am having the correct one. I should have a negative Fa force instead I get the same numerical number but positive. Any clue of why?

Follow-up Question

I understand what you say, however, shouldn't the formula confirm the direction I assumed in the first place is correct or incorrect? For the force acting on B, I assumed the force was positive and indeed I had a positive numerical value. So, I still don't understand why I get a positive one acting on A if my first assumption what that the force is negative. Could you please evaluate this as I want to make sure I understood the concept.
